Thinking about doing a weekend camping/riding trip. I've been looking at Douthat State Park, Mountwood, Seneca Rock, etc. Looks like the area has a lot of good networks.
Any suggestions? I'd like to primitive camp and have nice back-country rides.

I haven't ridden at Douthat State Park myself, but I know people who have and they have nothing but goods things to say. I've ridden the north part of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest though, up near Sugar Grove and Harrinsonburg. So many trail networks are in that area. Defiantly some great riding there with plenty of back-country stuff. I'd recommend checking out Narrowback Mountain. I also know a fantastic local shop in that area. If you want more details about them, pm me.

Just follow pro Jeremiah Bishops strava file. He covers every inch.
I have stayed at Slaty Fork area and have mostly ridden GW national park. Lots of goodness and spot a day at snowshoe also for some DH goodness...
