Trail Building Saturday June 18 at Lewis Morris

We're going to put the finishing touches on the new section of yellow this coming Saturday. Apologies for the late confirmation, we were trying to work out logistics and coverage. Hope those of you who ride Lew Mo frequently will chip in!

• Note for High Schoolers: If you're looking to beef up your resume before applying to colleges, this is a great way to earn community service/volunteer hours.

• Note for Racers: This work is eligible for PayDirt points.

Where and when to meet: Meet at the Sunrise Lake Boathouse by 8:15AM on Saturday June 18th Address is 270 Mendham Road, Morristown (about 3 miles west of Morristown center). Enter the main park road and keep making right turns until you get to the Sunrise Lake Boathouse.

What to bring: Bring bug repellent if it's warm out and wear long sleeves/pants if necessary as we will be working in the woods off the current trail. No tools or gloves needed, these will be supplied, as will water and snacks.

Requirements: All new volunteers will be required to sign liability waivers. These will be provided at the trail date. Those who attended prior trail dates will not need to.

that's next months build. already got the ok from mcpc . some IMBA reps also said it was gonna be implemented into their new teaching on trail preservation and that we are already ahead of the game!

Thanks to all the volunteers who chipped in this Saturday to further shape the new section: Stephen, Nina, Tom, Diana, Zoe, Bill, Cara, Morrey, Mike, Tom, Jerry and of course Miguel. Thanks also to Miguel for leading the crew, awesome job!!! Paydirt hours for this year's dates so far have been submitted as of today.
