@Mitch that's it. After some more research I think they are deer tick larva.

Regardless of what life cycle they are in larva or nymph they are still super tiny unless you really look. Just wanted to point out in the original post that these little f'ers are still very active in Allaire. So check yourself carefully

Is it just my spoty memory or was there less controlled burning this past year? Either way, winter temps can't come soon enough for me.... These little vampires need to die!
