The Yellow Trail

So I wandered over the Mahlon Dickerson today. It was a bit chilly but wanted to try out some new MTB garb that my tax rebate sprung for. A nice place really. Like I say, it was cold so I only did the 5 mile yellow trail but, this early in the season, the climbs were steep enough to burn the thighs a little and make me walk a couple of times. I went clockwise and I'm glad I did since there were a couple of long and rocky downhills that would've been a complete biatch if I was coming the other way!

I found the yellow trail farily well marked - I didn't get lost!

It was about a 45 minute drive for me but worth the trip and I'm looking forward to trying the other trails out.
