Strava wifey ride

Lamest ride of biyf so far. Wifey wanted to go for a ride, puttered around with her for 20 minutes, then went in search of a sandhill crane family with 2 little ones we've seen. No luck, but did find a northern passage to the community north of us that should allow us to mtb up to the one preserve without riding on route 41.

Did find a sandhill crane nest - I guess the smart cranes live here all year, someone posted pics of dumb sandhill cranes still in NJ

Title of Strava ride - I don’t feel tardy, CLASS DISMISSED....

1993 26er now sounds like a cross between the drum beat from Hot For Teacher and a steam locomotive depending on the speed. Tightened the old brakes today and the rims have a slight bend. While 25 miles is not much for you roadies I got a slight taste of riders high and wanted to go another 25 but out of time. While there has been a lot of snow melt, planning to ride Ramapo from top of Skyline Drive Saturday morning as temperatures should be below freezing the next 2 nights. Since it is mostly rock and at the top of a ridge, may be the only place that I can find in the state to ride off road. @rick81721, what is that figure in the third photo?

No didn't see that one. We went thru one neighborhood where all the streets are named after suburbs of Washington DC - Silver Springs, Chevy Chase, Fairfax, etc. Bob used to commute to DC on bike so he always point them out

Stayed up way too late last night, since I'm off today. Luckily for me the fun fridays ride was canceled. Didn't feel like riding,then I remembered I'm in this contest so I better ride. Rode a little less than an hour. I also took some pictures. There's an old rusty water tower in keyport, I decided to take a picture of the other side. The building is active. Other 2 remind me of somewhere other than jersey.
