First time back to the Sourlands in a long time. The light dusting of snow made the rocks slick so I was fumbling around a lot. Fun time though. Had the whole place to myself.

I took my time, let gravity do it’s thing. Very still time in the woods even when going down.

A chilly start with a light coating of snow; mostly abundant traction with some frozen ruts and occasional sketchy roots. Did 10 solo then another 8 when the girls showed up. Good times!

Was gonna bike to/from the start but a dusting of snow convinced me that might be annoying.
