Greeting from The Motor City.

Went on for a long and steady biking
Haven't touch my road bike for more than 7 month
It felt weird at first, but after few miles into the ride it felt i'm becomes one with the bike

This ride and its route
Are my regular long and easy
It doesn't require Google maps navigation
Tho its an long haul ride but terrain is mostly flat only one big climb in town of Shenandoah part of Taconic tectonic plate
About 12% upgrade

Start at 3am
An hour later I was in Suffern stop by nearest g as station and get a cup of tea and a brownies
Moving to next,is town of Monroe
Around 12 miles from Suffern I rode on dark and empty state highway 17 north occasionally cars Zipp by it was almost 5am

Arriving in Monroe
Not stopping here..

Next is Stewart State park
I always use this park as my short cut route to get onto walden
Sun is up now in this park
Then continued onto town of Walden

Entering walden main street
Order breakfast at an local dinner it was almost 8am
Finishing breakfast kept cranking nonstop until I reached walkway Hudson River pedestrian bridge in Poughkeepsie
It was around 10:20am

From here
Took the Dutchess rail trail all the way till the trails ended in Hopewell junction 13 mils total, then continued climb over the Taconic mountain in Shenandoah no stopping until I reached town of Carmel
In Carmel I took the Putnam rail trail 45 miles all the way down to yonkers in Bronx

Stopped briefly there get some water and snack and its time to get home

Finally home by 6:30 pm

我很高兴!!

Haha, me on a similar trip looked like I was camping overnight. You just a suspicious package taped to your seat. Didn't need to Google translate since I've got a 2nd grade level education...

“Break a Leg”

It’s just a catch phrase for asking folks to take a rest or resting after working long hours
But,no
I literally take it to next level, I really break my leg and rest at a same time
It’s been three week now since its happened (3/11-2019) on Monday afternoon around 5 pm in NYC
I’m not going to tell the details here, things happened for a reason and it could’ve been worse,,,

Thank you
To all my MTBNJ friends and all my Donors
Your support are tremendously amazing and your generosity I’m forever indebted to you all.

Detour ahead
It’s just an Detour toward my destination
So,I must follow it carefully or else,,,

Current state of mind
I just go back from hospital today 4/2
Woke up this morning as usual doesn’t sleep well this past three weeks since the pain bother me so much I didn’t relying on pain killer pills that much
Only when its really intolerable then I took it

X-rays and also stitches has been removed
I can walk a little but not really putting pressure on it just yet,I still use the walker
Conditions so much better than two week ago whereas I can’t walking at all
Today felt a little better but not fully walking yet
Leg still swollen when use for walking but not swollen if laying down on bed
So.,,it’s all good for now
And I’m due back to hospital again a month from today

And the bikes is OK Incase you should ask
