To stick with the a/c theme - i charged the car a/c a couple days back. air was cold.
went to use it yesterday, and nothing. nice warm air, maybe even hot.
open hood, compressor not running. pull the plug on the pressure sensor (it is a high pressure shut off switch
to protect the system) - and jump it with a wire. Compressor comes on.

Wire left in, so a/c on, compressor on.

air is cold!!!!

hope there is a physical relief valve somewhere.....

Annoying buzzing sound in the master bath (upstairs - only attic crawl space directly above) started last night. I can't figure out where it's coming from, putting my ear to the walls it doesn't get any louder, and it doesn't seem to be coming from the a/c vent. Ideas??

Ding ding... close enough - lets just say an "adult toy". You win!

On a real DYI topic, just replaced the kitchen faucet - what a pita that was. Had to basically tear the old one apart to get it off.

this is not uncommon (the second part, not the first - well maybe both)

a few of the faucets i've done were better attacked with a sawzall, than a wrench. brass is soft - piece of cake.
