Sterling Forest Trail Build Day Nov 7 from 9-5pm

This Saturday November 7 from 9am till 5pm we will have a trail building event at Sterling Forest. Come help us build a new trail that will be designed for mountain biking as a multi use trail.
Come for a few hours or stay all day. Meet at the South Gate Rd trailhead across from Buttonwood Rd in Tuxedo Park NY.
South Gate Rd is off Eagle Valley Rd, which is off Sterling Mine Rd and the other end of Eagle Valley Rd is off Long Meadow Rd. Very easy to get to. It's about 15 minutes from 87/17.
Please let us know if you may attend because we want to have enough tools. Wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves and pants. Bring gloves and eye protection or we will have loaners. Also bring water and a snack. Oh and bring a friend too cause we want to finish this section. Thanks! See you there!

How did this go last week, did any cyclists other than the regulars show up?

I have been meaning to make this, but last week I forgot I had a prior engagement. This week I'm sick and my head is going to explode. Hopefully the next one.

We got a lot of work done last week. This Saturday we hope to get a good turnout as well. We are almost done with the first section and will be able to move to the next section soon. Since this is a new riding area we don't have any "regulars" yet. I attached a picture of trail work from Wednesday
