Wash, rinse, repeat of yesterday. TT bike commute. Gave it a little gusto on the way home and shaved a few minutes off my time.

2 points.

Trying to work out the details of getting a ride in on Easter...More than likely it'll just be enough to claim my streak...One more day.

Nice work Oleg!!

Incredibly profound yet fantastically flawed
Had a great day today riding at Middle Run - conditions were perfect and my legs felt good all day. One little hiccup -- crashed on god-knows-what while cruising down a hill and f'ed up my left hand to the point where I had all kinds of trouble holding my handlebar. Still rode for another seven miles, though (can I get a bonus points for stupidity? I re-rode the most rooty section of the whole place with basically one hand on the bars. :D)

3 Hours - 6 points.

(Oh -- and if possible, can I use today as my double day? I know that's supposed to be declared early, so I'm cool if it's a no. But I'm not sure I'll be able to ride tomorrow as a result of riding today -- I'll have to see if my hand can grip the bar. I'd rather not take the chance and just use today as a DD, but I am cool if that's not a allowed.)

This is it for me as I have to work tomorrow.

Friday 3/29: One hour on the road bike. 2 points.

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/290972476

Saturday 3/30: 1h37min at RV with Glenn. Then 10min around the neighborhood to get to the two-hour mark. Plus I am going to use the double day I missed on 3/24. 4 points for the ride times two equals 8 points.

Month total should be 48 points. Happy Easter everyone and thanks, Dave, for making March fun!

Day 14

So my wife surprised me with a trip to Arizona for my 30th birthday. I opened the card and asked "So...when are we going?". She replied "Tuesday!". I'm on spring break this week from school so it was all perfectly planned.

Although it was a very short trip, I was fortunate enough to ride one of days in Sedona. I was able to set up a ride, and rent a bike through Over the Edge bike shop. I really wanted to ride more, but time wasn't on my side. I will be back for sure! :getsome:

Nice and easy Easter Morning ride, just enough to get the Streak Bonus.

I have been on the bike every day since December 19th (103 days in a row).

In March I did 92 hrs. and 1150 miles.

I want to thank Dave for putting these super fun contests together and motivating me to ride like never before.:getsome:

Jim you are still faster than me by 3-5 MPH and you do have some of the best looking bikes out there.:)

I will not ride for a couple of days but I will still commute to work every day.

Happy Easter.:D

Awesome! She's a keeper.
OTE is a great shop, and that Airport loop is some fun for sure.

Not that it matters at this point. Please sign me up for 'lazy' rather than commuter next time :)

March 27 | 29.62 mi / 1:44:04 | Commute. Headwind on the northwest leg of this was brutal. I guess I should have added another minute or 5 to get this rounded up. Don't have the elapsed time data field on my Garmin. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/290953062

March 30 | 115.26 mi / 7:29:05 | Can i use DD here? I havent moved any so far. HOH+ Rode to / from because why not. Most amazing weather day ever for this ride that I'm aware of. Bummer about the pasta rather than pizza. This is about the best I've ever felt on a bike so I guess I got the pace and fueling right. Still had legs when I got home so I probably should have pushed a little more. http://connect.garmin.com/activity/290953142

Recovery Day

Did some interval work although I didn't have much in the tank after yesterday. I muddled through it, at this point getting to 50+ miles come kinda easy.

2:55 hrs = 6 pts

Thanks for hosting this Dave, this was a fun event to have on mtbnj. I think there will always be the petty bitching but overall this contest is a net gain in positives. You da man Kendrick Lamar.

Happy Easter my brothas!

Rode out to the pier with the Mrs this morning:
http://app.strava.com/activities/46642968
5xDD=10pts
I have a feeling Manny's gonna catch me at the line here,
but I definitely got what I came for- 462 miles for the month,
1250 miles for both contests, about half my total mileage last year.

Dave, thanks again for hosting,
I've got a couple of tasty six packs for you when the group ride comes together.

Happy Easter all!

4:51 -> 76 miles

first ride since last double day, so quadruple day for me :D

40 points (ok, 20..but really 40)

nice loop, started at 6:30 - 10deg colder than predicted. Warmed up quickly enough.
picked up KStwenty1 (Kevin) around 7:30, and Roadie (Chris) around 8:30 - saw a few others on the road, but not as many as expected.

missed the turn to get back to Sergeantsville, and ended up on rt 12. Luckily, Kevin knew which way we were going so we didn't end up in frenchtown.

Happy Easter -

Thanks Dave - will get on the code right after i find a tap for Eric....priorities you know.
