Well, with the option to run 40+c tires, this will become a fun gravel adventure bike after the one race I get lapped at.

Old. We've been thru this twice already.
Guys guys, don't worry. I will be out there all day with hoses making sure the trails are maximally wet. even if the rain stops now, expect it to be like ankle-deep in mud.
