I bet you have one in the garage that you never use.

If it is a large hardtail I think the best plan of action is to sell it to me (cheap). Getting rid of it will improve your feeling of self worth...

Considering a new Salsa TimberJack GX1.

Could run it mid-fat 27.5 with gears or more often as a 29’er SS for sketchy gravel like HillyBilly. 38c tires, rigid fork and drop bars made the steep descents slow and unpleasant.

Real talk. The Timberjack is the best SS on the market right now. Lighter than any carbon frame with insane versatility.
