Shimano XT BL/BR-M785 Vs Bl/BR-M8000/8020

The 12spd XTR would be an early adopt.
Eagle has been around for a while now. Even at the GX level, the shift quality feels so much better.
I'm just looking for more than the 42T which is the largest cassette I have. Cheapest gateway to get there is XT with 46T
Already have two SRAM 11spd wheels so the wheel swap game will be in full effect

rear shifter and derailleur is only about $100 at Jenson. Sounds fair to get one more bike on 11spd

Probably going that route, but I need a 11 speed shifter that bolts to the older XT brake lever (BL-M785) without an adapter, because the adapter cost as much a shifter. There's a version of the XT 11 speed shifter that does just that but it's not sold in the US (SL-M8000-B-I about $50 from either Japan or Europe). Everything else is not worth buying outside the US (CRC does not ship Shimano to the US anymore).
