Took a flyer on these on eBay - a bit too small for me. They're more like a 46 with room for big socks. At 48, it's summer tight, unless you have narrow feet, then it's game on. These have been replaced in the Shimano line-up by the XM9, but they're essentially the same. Gore-Tex liner, Vibram sole, spd, etc.
Basically unused. Certainly never ridden. SPDs were never installed, so the plates beneath the covers are immaculate.
