I stuck out the cold for as long as I could.
my kid gets on the bus around 0640, and we have a view of the SE sky from out front porch - in December, Mercury and Venus were hanging together -
now it is Venus and Jupiter for the next few months. If you are up, take a look! I think @stb222 posted a picture a few weeks back. Venus is the brighter one.

Antares is the faint star to the right of the planets. Next week, Saturn will be visible down by the horizon to the left, along with a crescent moon.
I also learned a new word this weekend. Matutinal.

Close. That's moon, venus, jupiter. Venus is always the brightest. Saturn will appear below the moon as the month progresses.
It was really good yesterday but I couldn’t get a clear shot, there was another one in line at the tip of the “tail”

I find that looking at my satnav screen is a lot more effective, less romantic I'll give you that, but more effective!
No, away from the moon, probably just a star but was in line
we can't see saturn yet, too low when the sun comes up. soon. and the moon is new (all gone)

^^^ perhaps - i think you still have venus (brighter) and jupiter (to the right), and saturn is closer to the horizon to the left.
unless it isn't rendered on my monitor. i didn't look outside until 6:20 and didn't pick up saturn. i'll fire up starwalk and check tomorrow.
