they should instead try to figure out the mess at Steele Gap and Twin Oaks Rds. They are fairly well traveled old carriage roads which of course they stopped paving at from the recent Newmans project

mostly east of chimney rock road, on washington valley rd for the next few weeks.

Was just coming here to post this. It's actually going to extend until October 2019.

There will be several phases of work including full road closures. Detours will be routed through Gilbride Lane. I'm happy to see this project, as it will improve a segment of road that is sketchy to ride on. However, it will also make Gilbride sketchy to ride on while the detours are in place.

Kinda fun to drive on though. I think this is a Twp. road anyway, IMO much less likely to be fixed.
