Ringwood Trail Build Nov 19

We have another trail build day planned at Ringwood for Saturday Nov 19. Please meet at Ringwood Manor (first lot) by 9am. It will be a short walk to the work site. Tools will be provided. Heavy or steady rain cancels.


We will be working on rerouting the Crossover Tr and the Ringwood-Ramapo Tr at their most west end onto another bridge that crosses the river. Once this is done, we can start on a new trail north to Sterling Forest and a complete Crossover reroute up to Lot A. It will open up new possibilities for many!

Good news: Art is out of his neck brace and will be out there working side by side with you this Saturday. However, he probably should not be swinging a pick just yet. If we get a good sized crowd, we may be able to open this section up before we head west in a few weeks. See you Saturday!

Sending out a big thanks to the many volunteers that came out today to work. We pretty much got a new section of trail opened up to divert traffic onto another bridge down by Ringwood Manor. This section is over a half mile long.
