I have tried Strava and other GPS apps. All seem to turn off or completely go off track by 15-20 miles every time I do anything in the woods. When I find a good one I will gladly post GPS. This entire trip was only around 8 miles. The hill itself is only 2 miles from Bamber Lake parking lot on Lake Drive. Off of Lacey Road in Lacey. Finding the trail with the "doorway" tree is a bit tricky. I found it a few years back while exploring different routes to the hill. But it is one of the more technical and fun trails to ride. Just beware of the lone tree smack in the middle of a skinny singletrack around a sharp, blind turn. It sent me flying. Hahaha. When you explore there is a lot of fun unmarked, packed, single track out there. A lot of the doubles are fun too. Beware of sand. Not a crazy amount, but enough to make some spots a great workout. Also, nothing worthy of the ski lift, but quite a bit of roller coasters.
