I was in northern NJ and asked the deli if they had pork roll. Two thing happened:

The cashier was not amused.
A guy behind me stated we call it pork roll up here.
I hit a QuikChek and ordered a TEC sammie.
Counter lady: sorry, we’re out of Taylor Ham

Me: okay, got any pork roll?

Counter lady:

Me: okay. Make it bacon.

I’m putting scrapple over pork roll. Most underrated mystery meat ever.
It's definitely a close race. There was a place in Sea Isle City, Pat's Bayside Market (closed unfortunately) that made a breakfast sandwich: The Junk Yard Dog. scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage, PR and scrapple on a HOAGIE roll. It was a commitment to eat the whole thing.

My local pub, which is owned by my brother and a few friends, recently resurrected it on their weekend brunch menu as the J.Y.D. and served on a kaiser roll.

That's what we call them down here in SJ.

I grew up way out west off route 78 and we used that word also. Very Philly influenced out that way, oddly enough.

I hate Philly sports teams, at least in theory. In reality I could care less but still F Ron Jaworski.

Since we're talking other meats...

Was in Savannah, Ga. back in March and had a fried bologna, egg and cheese sandwich.
I'd put it up against a TEC any day although, I haven't had once since.
