Peter Sagan Appreciation Thread

The ending of MSR is always spectacular. It is going to be warm and sunny so should make for a fast day. I am wondering if Sagan will try and bomb the f on the backside of the Poggio amd try to stay away as if the big sprint guns are there, it might be his only shot.This was his save in MSR last year. How will he do tomorrow?

The Recon Ride podcast had a good analysis and spoke with John Degenkolb about the race. They noted that a breakaway usually happens every few years and is overdue. The last 20 minutes will be exciting for sure, riders like Michał Kwiatkowski and Vincenzo Nibali have popped off the front on the late climbs/descents in in the last few editions but have always been caught.
