Had to get out in the really nice weather. The air was super cold near the rivers I rode along - Like 20 degrees F colder.

I know what ya mean! I did Wawayanda today and the main road still has about 2.5 feet of snow along its sides and there is still a foot of snow in the woods beyond that! I reminded me of walking into a freezer.

Not quite enough gas in the tank to make the push past the longest ride, so no bonus this time around.

MC wanted to stop and drain the lizard at the base of a climb, so I was standing around. There was a SWAT multitool on the top of a trail marker and I showed it to him. Within a minute, John came thundering down the climb with Jim and Len. He showed me his new bike and I asked him if it had SWAT. He said yes so I asked him to show me the mulltitool. He seemed stunned that it was missing and more so when I handed it to him.

Here's MC and posse staring into the abyss:

I didn't want to wake up early, and I didn't want to drive all the way to Allaire, but I also didn't want to just ride on the road again. I figured I would ride out of my driveway again and see about some trails. I hit this little one mile single track loop in Mountain Lakes, and it was in surprisingly great condition, so I had high hopes for the Tourne. It was mostly decent at first, the new switchbacks were great, but then up top and down the backside there was a lot of snow/slush/water/mud. So I bailed out of there and skipped Hepner figuring it would be worse. Into Jonathan's Woods, which wasn't terrible for the most part, but not really good either. These are crapper trails, so it doesn't really matter, but I just cut through there and on toward Wildcat. All of the single track I rode in Wildcat was in phenomenal shape. All of the woods roads and rail beds were quire the opposite. Eventually I got back to the road and did a leisurely cruise home working on my tan lines.

Another awesome day, an d ride. There should be a slight reduction in time due to my assisting an injured rider. Is there a way to trim the middle of a ride in Strava? If not, we can deduct the time I drove my vehicle. Hope @Mildly Wild is feeling better soon. Good seeing @Mitch, @UtahJoe, and Matt Murray in the lot.

I'm looking forward to when this bike feels less alien and I can start shredding like the old days.

Yesserday: city bike ride with @1sh0t1b33r and @extremedave

Great day out, many funs were had.
I was hell bent on just doing a loop of the island, even though the east side is a clusterfuck, I always want to do it just because.
And we did.
But we had to also throw in a loop of Central Park because some princess was throwing a mantrum (Dave).
Highlights also included him flatting in Harlem, and the ladies being all gaga over Magic's pink booties.
