I agree on both counts. I will require it for elite, because I know everyone thus far has a GPS anyway. FWIW AM has a GPS but she does not like her location data to be public. On the mortal side I don't want to price anyone out due to lack of a GPS.

I mean let's be honest... Chuck and Bruce are going to run away with it but I think things should be interesting between Johnny, Rick and myself... and Kev's chances of whipping the three of us are very good. So he finishes third.. That's like finishing first in my mind.

Last year, I was in Manhattan til 8pm and it was raining on the first day of the BIYF. Now, just trying not to DNS, DFL, etc. Saw a cold, scarf wearer on a Hybrid on the trails behind Wal Mart, who was probably the first cyclist I saw on these trails in 20 rides.

I went out and explored some old shit in Rockaway Boro and some trails around Holstein Lake. It's mostly woods roads and atv trails, but there was one pretty cool section that reminded me of a part of four birds that I like. Not a destination, but it's exactly what I'm looking for to break up the road ride home from Jonathan's Woods. It actually sets up nicely to detour through Mountain Way/Watnong to extend the ride before heading home, so I'll be out exploring that soon.
