in for mortal,
I see your 3 children and raise you 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 jobs
any bonus points for dragging said children along?

Do you have a middle-aged, over weight, out of shape, no time to ride, with 3 children under the age of ten category?? If not, just throw me in the Mortal class and my goal will be to not finish in the bottom five......

Just a quick update:
We will have 2 monthly winners for mortals: one for Dec-Jan and one for Jan-Feb, plus the overall Dec-March winners in each category.

Also, don't lose any limbs in the cold or you'll look pretty goofy in your prize: a pair of MTBNJ socks for the monthly winners and an all-new MTBNJ t-shirt for each of the overall winners.

The mortal class should also require a GPS file including moving time.
I tend to agree, those who used a GPS file are held to a "moving time" whereas those that don't are not held to the same standard. That really adds up over time. I know on some of my weekend rides I easily lose an hour talking to people in passing, which is not counted into my moving time as regulated by gps.

Just saying.
