Went riding from P7 on Clinton Rd and headed up to the Bearfort Fire tower and trails.

Here is the view from the client's Board Room (where they keep the snowboards):

Not riding as much as I would like, says everyone on this board...

However, Saturday, had a great time with B Money and Burning Man. We noticed that someone had cleaned up a trail that had been blocked and the blocking debris was thrown 50 yards down a mountain. Perfect ride, including the galactic sidewall rip that preceded the long walk home.

I hope @Kaleidopete gets out today, I still have him beat this week.

13 hr, 5 min. 211 miles

Usual mix of rides, mostly road, but discovered a fantastic "rogue" (actually it pre-dates the local version of Jorba) singletrack trails system close enough to ride to. Didn't expect this - I'd give it a solid B grade in my NJ trails rating system. And yesterday by serendipity I met one of the guys that built and maintains it. He gave me the skinny on all the trail riding around here - turns out I'm in one of the best areas of the state. More mountain biking in the near future.

The singletrack:

Usual to the beach rides:

As it gets warmer, more gators are coming out to sun:

Well I did get out today, and had a nice ride. The trails are really hard frozen now and for
some reason they are much better to ride than a few days ago. I went by the shelter on
the Appellation trail and saw someone was in there camping. I didn't want to disturb them,
so I rode on.

What a beautiful morning to be out....

The sloatsburg dam. Built over 200 years ago to power a sawmill and tannery, and later on a textiles and silk mill.....pretty much all that is left....fires and floods have destroyed the Mills over the years.....

My Philly girls ride was cancelled so i opted to stay local and ride Water Co. Giving the Juliana some love. Finished just as the snow started.

Cleared one of the Rock gardens that has been challenging me

Since I didn’t get out until the thermometer was already reading 32 degrees, I decided to do one of my local enduros. Not enduro as in long, but as in on/off road.

Someone had been getting artistic with branches on this short little trail...

This icy hill reminded me why I rarely take the power line in this direction.

Fun group of new and old friends in the woods this morning. Hit some stuff I have not been on in awhile; mostly all good until my derailer and hanger exploded near (at) the ride's end. Time for repairs and deferred maintenance.

Almost as bad as the quarter size hole in the right side sidewall of my Ikon Saturday that began the 3.8 mile walk to meet my mildly annoyed but sainted wife.
