Try it yourself, I bet you're a non-taster. My theory is non-tasters are less genetically evolved (i.e. more neanderthal genes). I also have no wisdom teeth (wisdom teeth being another neanderthal trait). Fun fact - neanderthals stupidly kept eating poisonous plants containing bitter alkaloids and eventually died out. ?

they say the same thing about people who like IPAs (and other hoppy/bitter beers), which i will note i do not like.

yes caffine content is the same, get a cheap french press, or a cold brew steeper to try it out.

either way you end up with a bit of 'mud' in the bottom, leave that in the brewer. also keep in mind if you want hot coffee not cold, brew it double strength and dilute with boiling water (or microwave it up to temp, once poured and away from grounds the microwave doesnt affect flavor)


Get an aeropress and start making great coffee.
