North Jersey Beginner Trails

@JTK37 Just keep it up slowly, you'll eventually get up the climb. What I do to climb that hill is to control my pace and breathing so that my heart rate doesn't spike. That gets me all the way to the top with plenty of gas left in my tank. One of the reasons I like Ramapo is due to the climbs.
Believe me there is no shame in walking the bike, heck I've walked it down rocky hills before as I don't want to wipe out as I'm not a fan of broken bones.

That said my only concern is that you stated that you felt nauseous after walking the bike up the climb. Do you mean you felt actually physically nauseous ? If so I totally understand that but as a precaution maybe it would be wise to get checked out by a doctor before attempting any of those climbs? As much as I like coming across other riders on the trails I much prefer to see them healthy and riding than having an emergency.
