On Labor Day, I didn't get a chance to ride until the end of the day. Rode a bit over 2 hours and almost made it home before battery died. At least I didn't die.

So I headed over the Hills in Randolph and into the center of Mendham.
I had to go uphill to get back home, so I figured I'd hit the "Mendham Mile" climb instead of continuing on 24 all the way back to Chester.

As of right now @Kaleidopete and myself are the only ones to ride the last six days straight. On the hour count I am a bit over 11, which is the most tracked yet. I will not be applying the prize to myself though......so get at it and stay safe!

Minutes ridden are below, please note, if you do not run a Strava log you are entered in for 60 minutes. You are going to have to have strava log (or similar product) to be in the total time end of the event, if it gets there.

Okay, a continuation to @jdog event, just simpler.

Whomever rides the most days in September wins a $50 gift card to Chipolte and a custom award made by me. Not to mention bragging rights. If the winner breaks 80 hours I will cover a one year membership to Jorba for them and some other goodies.

If @mattybfat hits 20 days I provide him a new set of DH tires (26").

Rules:

Ride - One hour or more. Don't be stupid, use your brain. Wet trails are frownd upon.

Tie breaker - Whomever has more hours for the month wins, so post your moving time with your ride. All postings are to this thread to count.

Bonus - Ride with shitbike or on shitbike and get double hours. Shitbike must be present for the entire ride. Pictures and story are needed. Moving time only.

It would be nice if we can get one of these monthly!
What if less days but more hours?

Days trump hours, but you need to ride at least an hour a day to make it count. If no strava, get those photos up. If there is a tie on days hours win.

I will also add, if you don't have strava, we need a post and photo daily if you rode.

Either way, we should all be posting up as we go along.

Well, I just Googled strava.

Looks like another hi tech way to suck the joy out of riding bikes.

I'll stick to just riding my bike because I love it...and I'll default back to posting on Matt's original thread.

Got .9 miles in last night before getting the call my new road bike came in. So... didn't get all the miles in yesterday but atleast made an hours ride on my local spot after picking up the bike. For those who have been to Creek for DH or XC... can appreciate climbing that 10%+ grade to the top :)

Riding when I got the call about new bike...

39 mile shakedown of the shifter. No skipping, but I waited too long to change the chain. The new one rumbled for 25 miles or so before quieting down.
