I beat a Vreeland. I'm retiring from cycling.
I'm currently training my replacement so this will be short-lived.
Lots of bragging rights, well done!
This will be coming back, anyone offering an August challenge?
Yeah someone do an aug challenge. Sept I miss 10 days on annual fishing trip
I can move this up, anyone else interested?
i'm in, or will come up with something for august. i'm away for 10 days, so probably person that rides a bike the furthest away from home for the most days
I am in for Sept. Aug conflicts why am no show for July because of vacation though putting up some good stats now.
Do you have to ride every day?
No I assume it's like Jim's challenge last Nov, total hrs for the month. If it's riding every day I wouldn't do it.
Ok. I'll ride my bike in August. So I'm in.
I'll be in Fl probably half of aug but will have bikes
No, I am going to change it up this year.
Most likely total hours with a few bonus opportunities. All bonus's will be announced in advance.
Trying to make it as fun as possible.
Looking to sweeten the prize as well.
GPS file will be needed doe.
Well that sucks because I never record anything and post it online. Tell you what. I'll ride my bike and drag a large crayon behind me. Then I will pay someone to take a dirigible up to like 4 miles above my loop and take a picture of my ride outline. While I do this, I will pay a local historian to record my time with a sundial. I will then synthesize this information and create a record to save online on this site called "STRAVA" which will render a version of my ride in electronic format.
That will be fine.
I will also take paper map submissions along with a polaroid.
Better yet, I will just ask Madam Ruby to tell me what happens and fill it out prior to the event start.
I just hope she doesn't send me to the Alamo.
Why is the burger so citrusy?
The main question is why do we need a contest to ride in one of the best months of the year for riding? September that is, F August.
