Going Long and Hard.

Work on bikes all day. Come home. Work on my bikes for weekend racing and next week's staff retreat.

I may bring 3 bikes out with me. Raystown isn't that big so I'm also doing a road ride one day. Not sure who's coming out so I like to have a bail out plan.

Fun ride chasing the boy around. Dusted off the Fat Bike because it's also my pit bike. Maybe it'll even be my main bike? Who knows, cross is dumb. Riding sand is cool. Both of the brakes were seized from not using it in forever so had to rebuild the calipers and levers real quick.

Cross came. Like one of those weird Japanese Movies.

Things to note.

I hate running. I hate the heat. I hate going hard for such a short duration. I didn't get lapped. Somehow I got a top 10. Somehow I lapped someone. I tried to kill Dan but he didn't die.

Even though it's illegal, we brought a pile of ebikes out with us. While I wasn't happy about that as a true mountain biker, it was fun to ride with my co-workers who are less than fast. Being on an SS I really had to work to stay out front which made this type of riding a lot more fun. Normally I'm bored out of my mind on group rides because the pace is so slow.
