When you bring the helmet with out clips, you improvise with safety pins which ironically does not seem safe.

Its ok, its a race!

The HP/Hermes club pays the park for the grass/area that is destroyed during the race. We asked if they were considering moving the course for tomorrow and they told us it would double the cost they need to pay the park.

How was the racing? Obviously muddy, but was it DNF conditions which cause your bike to stop working...like Hippo.

It was as bad as Hippo in terms of the amount of mud but the grass was not an issue do there were far fewer DNFs.

Thanks for the photos guys, next time someone complains about people riding MTB trails after a rainstorm, i'll be forwarding them this gallery of CX photos from an actual public park. So funny.
