How is mountain biking in Qingdao?

Chinese food here resembles little what we see in NJ. Much of the dishes here are light on sauces and rely more on the freshness of the ingredients, similar to southern Catonese food. It's not till you get more inland are flavors more reliant on sauces such as Szechuan and Hunan styles. You'll see this in some Chinatown restaurants, but not to this extent.

I did get some pics of bikes doe
The famous yellow ofo bikes you've seen dumped in huge piles. They are backed by the Alibaba company so have loads of dough.

Here's a solo Mobike which started it all here. This one is the Mark One version, great design from a national contest, but weighs a ton and was cost prohibitive to make. Next to it is one of the popular delivery services available in all cities. Order anything in the city the have it delivered for a small charge and no tipping.

We considered renting these at a park for an hour but the minimum credit was $50 for each but so it didn't happen.

Actually many cities are no longer bike friendly due to all the cars, trucks and other motorized vehicles on the road. The ride of choice for those who don't have cars are electric scooters and mopeds.

Took an 8 hr sleeper train from Xuzhou to Beijing last night. Terribly uncomfortable being on the top bunk and the smell of cigarettes. Got maybe 3hrs of shut eye.

Early morning at Wangfujing, which a popular pedestrian walking/shopping area. Sort of like Times Square and Fifth Ave combined.

This place is know for the bug eating as well as a novelty. But I found super fresh molting cicadas a few days ago. Tastes like soft shell crab, seriously.

That’s it.... the gloves are coming off. You’ll play in quicksand and eat cicadas but are nervous about MCBP?!?!? ;)

One of my favorite places in the world is the Forbidden City in Beijing. It's the largest palace and museum in the world with about 9000 rooms. Unfortunately the 80,000 tickets available each day were sold out by 9am so was only able to stroll the perimeter. Still gives me chills nonetheless.
