Ordered a rear light, a Knog Blinder Mob Mr V Chips on @stb222 ’s recommendation. Seems really bright, couldn’t imagine any more lumens in the rear. Also picked up another Urban 650 for the dome.

Been lurking on this thread....Picked up a Knog Blinder Mob Mr V Chips tail light based on the reccos here. so far so good, very bright, large reflector area while overall pretty sleek design. built in usb is slick but a little concerned how its going to hold up as its somewhat exposed to elements. this replaces an Amazon light i picked up on a whim. super bright but got only a few months of regular use out of it.

Running a light and motion 600 mounted on my helmet and another amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LY93ECE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
cheapo on my bars that the wookie recommended. decent output and pretty surprised has held up for about a year now.

Between my helmet (Cateye Volt 783), bar (cheap Chinese Cree) and backup (Niterider Lumina 950 dishing 750) I was running 2350 lumens last night and it didn't seem like too much. Shut the Lumina off on some fireroad climbs, doe. The price was <2/3 of the Overkill bar light. #keepinitreal

With all the interest in night riding, just some night riding etiquette, if you have never through about it:
If your wearing a headlight, that is, light on you head...
*don't look directly at the drivers for too long. This is almost second nature during the day, to make eye contact, but you'll not be making friends at night doing so.
*don't look into houses as you pass by them. You'll freak people out, and cause complaints.

*don't turn around and look in the eyes of the other guys you are riding with, especially when going down a tech section.
