I'm considering some "winter foliage" myself, now that the holidays are past. It'll be interesting to see the % of gray that emerges.

Is LeMond still selling the "Fillmore"? It's a $1000 bike, but a step up from the entry-level aluminum-framed fixies.

I have an 05 and quite like it. True Temper OX Platinum frame, welded in USA by an actual person, carbon fork & seatpost, Bontrager wheels. I swapped the bars and saddle to match those on my road bike, and I've been riding it like crazy. This is my second winter on it.

Eventually, I want a ti fixie to match my geared road bike, but that's gonna take a while.
