I like your problem solving. But, did you try unplugging the old van then plugging it back in first?
Quite a few times... But while I didn't quite buy what I went to the dealer for (turned out none of the 2018 models they have at discount pricing have the stow and go middle seats that are mandatory), I did end up getting the van that sort of started me on the "new van want" a few months ago: a 2017 Grand Caravan GT. I was able to get it with less miles and for less money than similar vans I've seen at CarMax.

July 21 - another early morning ride as I have to do some car club stuff today. I missed the really good sunrise from the Bristol pier by about 10 minutes.

Fingers crossed there will be some dry weather tomorrow. I have an autocross event, so it'll likely be another am ride.

We went for a nice dinner last night and opted for an Uber to get home, so I has my mission for this morning. This was pre-planned, so I had the rack on the car but I didn't think to throw a normal pair of shoes in there for the drive home. No big deal.

The ride was uneventful until I flatted. I changed the tube w/o issue and when it was time to inflate I threaded a cartridge on, hit the valve, and got nothing. WTF? Turns out I never replaced the cartridge last time I flatted. Thankfully the second was full and did it's job. I manage to pinch the tubes about 10% of the time I mount a road tire (rendering them instantly useless) but luckily this was not one of those times. Took it easy for the rest of the ride and decided not to tack on any extra miles since I had nothing if I flatted again.

No pics today.

Picking up the car, and a thorn in the tire too. 21/31

Day 20 and 21 were all about my youngest son Danny. He’s a baseball and basketball kid and has always thought “riding bikes over rocks is stupid”. So I was super stoked when I asked yesterday if anyone wanted to ride with me he said he would! I brought him to Nassau. Today my ride was my road commute to his baseball game. I didn’t take pictures either day so I took a pic of him on his bike in the driveway.

I was about ready to hit 6 Mile for most likely the last time before a solid week of rain renders it a sloppy unrideable mess but I opted for a family ride at Dukes Farm instead. Every time I go there I come across something I haven't seen before. It must have been some place back in the day.

Day 20... We rode part of 6 mile after I got home from work. No pics because dusty and getting dark. Did canal side and rode path back and forth to the car. Rode for 1:30ish.

Day 21... we took the cross bikes out for a gravel grinder style ride. Rode for 2:45 and gravel highlights were Long Rd, Holland Rd, Larger Cross Rd and Bunn Rd. Yay bikes! Forgot to stop and take pics... again.

Day 21 - Fam ride at Duke Island,

Been meaning to go here w/ the kid in tow. I think parking at the bike path entrance off Old York Rd then riding over to the playground would be fun for her. Until it all falls apart that is.

Also scoped out the bridge into Colonial Park from the canal. Amwell Rd lot seems like a good starting point for this one.

Need to change that flat on the wife's ride....
