Yeah should be in high gear by now. I've lost tabs on the salt water scene since our boat got trashed on the parkway
Someone hit it? Or did someone forget the straps?

Got rear-ended
Would def do that again when we get another boat in FL.

I think u should run along next to the train for a little while to keep the streak going.
wasn't there a strava of you jogging on a cruise? with some crazy times depending on which way you were going?
this is a great idea, why didnt i think of that??!?!!!
You're a Snow Bird Biker!Good question, especially after seeing snow on the ground when we got back. Actually we have to get this dump ready for sale, then look for a townhouse to replace it. Plan to spend most of the fall back in FL. Gotta spend at least 6 months +1 day there to avoid NJ taxes.
Nice. Welcome back. I'm on Marco Island now, why would you leave here? ;*)
Nice recapMonthly update - March was a transition from sunny Florida to gloomy NJ. But at least trees are budding - it's going to look good in a few weeks. This month:
845 miles
24 rides
49hrs riding time
4 runs (13.5 miles)
I set an original mileage goal of 7000 for the year - I'm already at 2549 miles for the year which is a 10,000 mile pace. If I was in Florida year round 10K would be an easy target, but I expect to spend about 5 months in jersey this year so we'll see what happens, in any event 8-9K is likely. And 1 run a week is a good mixup for me legs. There's a 10K coming up but have no idea when or where, gotta look into it. All I know is @JimN is going down!
As previously mentioned, had a "streak" going for awhile where I either did a ride or run every day (no fake rides either). Legs held up relatively well except my hamstrings started to get very tight, especially after runs. Put the kibosh on the "streak" at 67 days - enough was enough. I plan to go back to a routine of 5 rides, 1 run, 1 day of rest per week. Or maybe stretch it out occasionally to 1 rest day per 2 weeks. Also looking forward to more mountain biking here when the trails dry out, and maybe even finishing my list of all the parks in NJ.
Anywho, March started like most of February - hot (February was the hottest one on record for our area - it got into the 80s almost every day). Headed to the beach:
After a few days it finally cooled off, so ripped off a 70 miler:
Actually did a repair job on the old Spearfish (replaced the cracked derailleur pullies) and hit my favorite local trails:
Some more road rides with Bob ( I gotta set one of these skeletons up for Halloween this year):
My son came down during spring break and we hammered some largemouth bass @ Lake Okeechobee:
Then back to NJ. What's this white crap all over? But enjoyed the hills again:
Back on my beloved Horsethief again was a joy after 3 months of riding the spearfish:
3K miles of Florida salt and grit fried the bearings in my rear Zipp wheel so while they were being replaced, brought out good ol niterider:
Ended the month with a recon run at the sourlands. Can't wait to ride there again:
