I had this on a Chameleon, but I never really use the dropper. I mostly got it for my fiance to use when she rode the bike, but apparently shifting is already too much to think about while riding. It works fine and have never had an issue with it working in the cold. The remote may need a bleed once you route it again and spill some fluid, but I pulled it out carefully enough to where it still works. Dropper does show some scratches from previous owner, as pictured below, but does not seem to affect performance.
