Selling my youngest son's bike. This bike started as:

Then we have swapped the drivetrain to 1x9 (I think it is 9 speed), Shimano XT derailleur, new chain, replaced Capa fork with Suntour XCR (still coil though), put new short Answer stem, carbon fiber handlebar, new Avid brake levers, aluminum flat pedals, new Giant seat, RaceFace crankset, chainring and bashguard. Rear Diamondback tire is new, front Velociraptor tire is good. Mechanical disk brakes. Frame is XS. Bike and components do have scratches from being used.

This bike has been thru the maintenance service last year at the LBS. All is working good and considering that this is a BD bike, it has been very dependable. Kid just outgrew it and wants a full suspension now. The color is red. The morning sun makes is a bit pinkish.

I'm gonna show my kid, see if she wants an upgrade. What rough size range/height would you think?

Honestly, I do not remember how tall my son is :-( He is 11 and still can use the bike size-wise. The problem when he was smaller was the reach. That's why we went with shorter and shorter stems until the Answer that's on the bike currently. I can get more info in the evening when I get back from work. Can probably snap a photo of my son next to the bike and let you know his height.

Lemme show her some pics. She's about 5 foot so that's fine, but she kinda loves her Hotrock so we'll see if she wants to try something new.

Ditch the front brake and go SS, and that would make a sweet pumptrack bike !
Right? Almost a street trials kinda deal.
My daughter liked the pinkish photo version, but not the red. Shows where her priorities are. Sigh.
