Frame Protection?

Anyone have any good recomendations for quality clear tape to use on a painted frame to protect against cable rub? Most clear protectors are too thick to adhere well. Thx.

I never had great luck with the clear stuff. I use the 3m 2155 tempflex rubber splicing tape from HD its cheap $2.40 convienent and works great
