Did a ride out on Patriots Path our to Lew Mo and back. Didnt have time to get into Lew Mo but the Path had several drifts that we had to motor through. 95pct of it was great thiugh. We did our part to pack it down (ours were the only bike tracks but there was some foot traffic and XC ski tracks). We also rode Speedwell Lake and neighboring streams for some variety. Ice was solid. Get some before the thaw!!

I rode around on some of mountain lakes today and wished I'd put together some sorta hub lakes plan. That woulda been a cool Strava post. Perfect lake riding conditions.

I rode Chimney Rock Lower Blue from the Newmans Lane lot today, then continued on the Middlebrook Trail at the extreme west end of the Blue (rather then going left up the long hill). The Middlebrook Trail gets less traffic than the Chimney Rock trails, but it's not as hilly (well, it's essentially flat), so traction during snowy conditions is better. It offers some nice scenery that I don't often see, also.
