E-bike What ya Got?

I'm entertaining the thought of converting my 07 Turner '29er into an E-bike. Most likely will use a mid-drive, Bafang BBSHD or cyclone 3000watt.

Has anyone done a conversion?

I was just looking to buzz around town and local rail trails. Have not done anything yet. $1500+ is too pricey.
