i don't think you'll have to worry about folks leaving.
in fact, i've heard some rumors that there will be a DH/FR/DJ forum here in the not too distant future. maybe you can tell some of those folks over there to check this place out...

Yeah... RM has been around... I first registered there back in Sept 2001... Many of the members from that era are from the MTBR forums.
Oddly enough, the original owner of RM was as much a snowboarder as a biker, but the site sort of was taken over by the eMpTy BeeR refugees (long story) and turned it into a popular MTB site with members from all over the world...
