I have a reasonably-cheapo Campbell Hausfeld compressor (oil-free, 5 gal?) wall mount jobbie from Lowes that is NOISY, but basically gets the job done.
I want to upgrade to an oil-filled, quieter, portable upright tank (20+ gal), 2+ hp that will deliver 125+ psi and power a spray gun (for occasional bike paint projects).
I'm keenly interested in the Ingersoll Rand Garage Mate 20 ($499 at Northern Tool)... Great reviews, but $500 is alot to drop on a home compressor... Anyone familiar with this compressor, or any other good quality one for less money?
