3 weeks post cleanse regime - and 21 days into the July 31/31 challenge #halterscycles
I weighed in post-ride this morning. 167.8 lbs. Damn happy about keeping the weight off, even tho
the food intake is being ramped-up to deal with the increased cycling. Here it is in picture form.
the 22 is June 22nd - and the bars are daily weight through today. there was a little upward trend developing, but that
seems to have been quashed. I suspect the exercise furnace is now lit, as my strava times are improving. Looking forward to seeing what
happens over the next couple weeks with the weight.
On the cycling front - I'm going uphill faster -
faster being a relative term. Getting PRs on most of the climbs.

One i am rather happy about is a sprint on ridge road yesterday.
@stb222 had noticed my position, but it was in a semi-organized
pace line.

Managed it in 2:55 (21.7mph), and think i left something on the table.
Are we having fun yet? Absolutely. Getting to the point where putting in an effort hurts in a good way.
The endurance is no where near what is needed/wanted - but the legs are feeling stronger. This is a good thing.
I'm just riding, and trying to keep the pace up. No actual training plan at this point. At my last peak, I was riding
to spin class, doing an hour, and riding home (or around with others from the class) - that was a good run.
I'm heading to the desert southwest in a couple weeks. Lots of hiking, probably some trail running, and hopefully
rent a bike.
Some morning light at the top of Hollow Rd.
Climbing the Sourland Ridge is fine on the mid-compact set-up. I might leave the EVO as a compact, with more work coming around the Jugtown Mt / Warren county area.
EVO Update: Dealing with the bottom bracket now. putting gxp crank in. no problem, right!
