Best graphics on a T-shirt. Also they really took care of you on this ride, rest stops had tons of food and home made hot food after ride...but I can't remember what it was.
This was the start of my competitive run. Some friends at local pool where talkin bout this event and got me interested. I look back at this as the catalyst that began my cycling drive.
Also this was a tough time for all of us, as it was only days after 9/11. I can recall the somber feeling of the day and the MC pausing for a moment of silence at the start and the promoter handing out American flag stickers to attach to our bike helmets.
