Heh, just saw an alert in the notification area and was surprised to see myself mentioned.

But yeah, I'm not particularly a fast rider but can be pretty stubborn so it's just natural to enter an endurance race, isn't it?

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I did find that racing an endurance event is definitely as much mental as it is physical. Proof being that last lap was so mentally freeing that I turned my 4th fastest of the day.

Many thanks to @1speed prepping me mentally and hooking me up with that cramp busting stuff. It was a great event and very well run.
