Im looking to build up a second wheelset for my new bike so i can switch 27.5+ and 29 wheels back and forth, needs to be a BOOST hub to fit in the frame.

so here is my question, in my searching for hubs i cannot seem to find straight pull hubs in 32 hole (at least not in boost spacing) is there a reason for this? is there a significant loss from only having a 28spoke wheel?

i will forego the straight pull if there is a legit benefit to the 32spoke setup.

so what say you?

nothing, i just like the straight pull look better :/

@fidodie
yea i need XD for that eagle thing

further research has shown that straight pull is tough to build at home due to spokes wanting to spin in the hub . . . hmmm still want to hear everyones thoughts

I spend a surprising amount of time cutting straight-pull hubs out of wheels and re-lacing them with standard Jbend. Everything about straight-pull is awesome until they're more than 2 months old and won't true anymore because all the spokes just spin. Even with the correct tools.
