I have musical taste that goes from one extreme to another and almost everything in between. This is nothing more then me posting what I had, liked or heard. Music is as big of a hobby to me as anything. I will start it off here as Spotify has now opened a solid Zappa collection. Remember I'm older then most of you so it can get dark in here...

Nice G yes only guitar heads Know why Zappa still lives. Genius/ Eccentric is commonly referred to him, just watch Behind the Album of Overnight Sensation to learn his genius. I bought this 3 album/vinyl set in late 70's when it was sold as a true box set. No writing no nothing and plain sleeves.

A Shorty here but my visit to my oldest daughters brought me to much appreciation to vinyl as her man has an awesome record collection. Vinyl is so warm and cozy.

Back story on this next installment, 1976 I was 12yr old and only child in Blairstown. I had a mentor and still to this day best friend who was 16 down the road who sold me his 8 track player with 2 tapes Led Zeppelin "4/zoso" and Black Sabbath "We Sold our Soul...." As one can imagine I was absorbed. Both bands breathed life into me and set a high standard.

Look Metal Heads kneel down to your creators Iommi, geezer, Ozzy and Ward. Watch Ward play the Drums in this 1970 Paris show and see how the evolution started.

Did you know that Rage has released a 20yr box set of unreleased and re mastered cds, plus dvds of their early live concerts. I had a embraced this band completely because it really fit my mood at the time.

Tom Morello should be noted as outstanding guitarist as well, the man could make some of the wildest sounds.

Here is a basic where they are at interview from RS, pretty much the same.

To think I was this close to seeing them with Beasties until the show was canceled.
