@KenS, @thegock maybe we should show these photos to the folks at Watchung who claim that Mountain Bike are destructive. It's pretty clear the impact of the foot traffic is significantly more pronounced than that of the fatbike.

Indeed....@Frank and I did a beach ride a few years ago and tested this theory. This is the result of our simple experiment. The tracks are mine, the boot prints are his. He walked regularly (no stomping or running). We weigh within a few pounds of each other. Feel free to share if it'll help.
