Anyone have a Fox 40 seal driver?

Looking to borrow one...evidently the new style SKF seals are absolutely impossible to install without it. I just placed an order for one but I was hoping to get in a day or two of riding this weekend.

I have no idea what these seals look like or what diameter, but have made fork seal drivers for moto forks from slightly undersized PVC pipe with a slice down the side for snug fit. Just a silly idea to mull over. Probably not worth wrecking $$$ seals while the right tool for the job is on the way.

That's what I've done for previous forks but the latest seals have a metal ring that makes them all but impossible to install without the actual tool.

The PVC trick will work on the 40 as well. Just hit it straight and use Float Fluid to allow it to slide.

Jim, have you tried that with the latest skf seals with the metal ring? I've used the PVC approach with pre 2016 forks but the latest ones are very challenging to seat.
