I took this facing the millstone river from blackwells mills. Should've taken another of the red trail - never saw the water that high. Maybe the tunnel under canal road is dammed up

Another recon ride-by today. Good news - water is coming down (albeit slowly along the red trail). If the low spot just before canal road is an accurate indicator, trails might not be that bad - but I still think there is some flooding along the creek. Looks like there is a logjam at canal road that is slowing the creek from draining:

Along the trail, water level has dropped another 10 ft or so from yesterday:

Side note: there was one suv in the lot with an empty bike rack so someone was out there. As I took the pic above I wondered if my beloved Rachel was the rider, and perhaps she would ride up as I took the pic, her svelte body glistening in mud... her pouting lips beckoning... then a voice said - "hey you're married"! Dream over

Had an opportunity to stop by this evening. Trails were in very good shape for the most part. I’d rate 4.6/5.0 overall. Just a few of the usual areas where it was wet.
